A winning combination of experience and state of the art technology have made Future Disc one of the worlds most respected mastering facilities. Established 1981 in Hollywood California, it has grown to serve the mastering requirements of all aspects of the burgeoning music industry. We have a history of working with a wide variety of labels, artists and producers.
Future Disc grew rapidly from one vinyl suite to a multi-room complex and became an early pioneer in the field of compact disc mastering. It was also one of the first mastering facilities to embrace surround sound and one of the first to provide DVD authoring.
Spending a quarter of a century in Hollywood as one of the most prominent mastering facilities, Steve decided it was time for a change of scenery, so in 2006 the company moved to a quaint town in the heart of Oregon's wine country.
Now that we've relocated to our 40 acre BuzznHum Ranch, when you attend your session, you can visit one of the numerous wineries that are minutes from the ranch, see the Spruce Goose, visit with our herd of alpacas, maybe take a walk though the woods, drive up the Columbia river to Mount Hood, or just relax and take in the fresh clean air and outstanding views.
We have always been known for a friendly relaxed atmosphere where clients feel comfortable while participating in the mastering session. We are more than happy to explain the process without technical BS so that clients feel comfortable and at ease.
